B 306 was a delight from start to finish! We are from Alberta Canada and know our premium cuts of meat but imagine our surprise to be offered ribeye from Botswana and 18 yr old ox from Portugal?! We started with a house made dry cured sausage that was out of this world and moved onto a sharing platter with the 2 previously mentioned cuts plus a NY strip. Perfectly rare. The sides were great accompaniments as was the wine and beer. The host and the server both spoke English and were very attentive. My husband, who is celiac and requires gluten free had no problem eating here. The music was great, the atmosphere totally fit the concept. Dessert was served in a cloud of cotton candy and followed by a complimentary schnapps. The hazelnut schnapps was smooth and nutty, a great surprise. We ended the night chatting with the host and the server about wild game, Canadian Bison, and living off the land. Honestly, one of the best experiences we have had in Germany. Memorable and delicious!
After becoming a little disheartened searching around Bad Reichenhall for somewhere to eat for a fussy vegetarian (me), a thunderstorm meant we ended up sheltering under the umbrella outside B 306. My assumption was this wouldn’t be the place I found dinner but I couldn’t have been more wrong! This place is amazing, every single detail was thought through and they are clearly incredibly passionate about what they do and it shows in every element of the execution. From the meat vending machine outside the front door, to the well done decor this really is an exceptional and unique restaurant. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful and a big shout out to our host who smashed it explaining everything to us in English. My meat eating company’s minds were blown at the choice of specialist steaks and sides available and as I said as a veggie I had plenty of choice including the homemade veggie burger and a plethora of sides. We didn’t indulge but the crème brûlée with cotton candy cloud looked incredible for pudding, if only we had room! An enjoyable experience from start to finish and I can’t recommend highly enough…and that’s coming from a vegetarian!!
We found this restaurant simply by searching 'restaurants nearby ' in this small and quiet town. We read a couple of comments that reservation is recommended but we gave it a try without it. Of course we were not able to get a table outside but we felt perfectly fine inside. Due to covid they have installed glass windows for each table to be separated from the main area and so you don 't need to wear a mask all the time, it was hilarious. The waiters were super friendly, one of them brought steak cuts to our table to see and to choose in case description in the menu was not enough. That was really nice. We chose two steaks and cole slaw salad as well as some unusual beans dish to go on the side. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were just wow. Especially those beans! I would eat them as a main dish alone with some garlic bread. Too bad we were too full to try desserts but next time for sure! Thanks again for the great dinner that we will remember from this trip
Very nice location, in the city center, with very good services. We take rib eye steak, which was very well prepared but not tasty as we expected. The salad was very good.
