Chez Camille

Just returned to our holiday home after dinner at Chez Camille. We spend several months of the year in this area, and have tried just about every restaurant in the town.This establishment is without a doubt at the very top of the tree. The food is of an incredible standard and the presentation and service are faultless. Camille is an extremely talented and passionate chef. The restaurant is located just over the road from the casino and overlooks the lake. I cannot praise Chez Camille too highly and have no hesitation in recommending it, to anyone visiting this beautiful spar town.

The service was the most outstanding part of our very pleasant visit to Chez Camille. From the moment we stepped inside the door to the end of our leisurely lunch we felt most welcome. Language help with the menu was graciously offered . . and much appreciated. The food was delicious, the fish was perfectly cooked and the plate of bite-sized desserts an indulgence! The setting and decor added to a delightful special lunch

Yesterday lunch time our party of 7 were extremely well looked after. The food was delicious and plentiful as always, and the service superb! Congratulations Chez Camille on a wonderful restaurant.

Recently changed hands, very nice food and good service, chez Camille is in the beautiful town of Bagnoles-de-l'Orne, went there with friends and were made to feel welcome even though we were quite late leaving.good menu but not extensive, tables a little too close together.

We have just eaten here this evening with friends, and cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Each dish was stunning, absolutely superb French cuisine at its best. A very talented chef, friendly and efficient service, a pleasant ambiance, and good value for money. Nicely tucked away from the crowds, almost opposite the casino, with ample parking right next to the restaurant. It all made for a very special evening. We love this restaurant and will definitely be back!
