Contribuisci feedbackI booked the Resturant for a private function agreeing on paying for a set priced menu for the group at $35 per person which consisted of three shared mains between 4 people, rice and potatoes. No swaying on price or menu to make cheaper as we booked out the Resturant. Fair enough I thought and accepted that. Confirmed numbers all week as some guests got sick and couldn't come Etc on arriving our private booking turned out to be shared with the public and as usual 2 couldn't make it on the night. Upon paying the bill was informed I had to still pay $70 for the two guests that didn't turn up even though she had at least 12 people outside our group in the Resturant. Think this was rude and was very disappointed that even though we filled her Resturant with 20 people she still insisted we pay for two extra meals. Bad attitude bad communication and bad experience trying to reason with this lady, will def not recommend for a group as your not appreciated. Was not ever told that if we didn't have 30 people we were sharing the venue and that we would have to pay for anyone that didn't turn up. Thank god everyone else was able to attend!!!
Friendly service with great food, we have eaten here many times and would highly recommend, if you enjoy a good Indian meal you won't be disappointed, very reasonable pricing on meals and drinks. It is a basic looking property but definitely worth a visit.
Having driven by on many occasions, we decided to stop and see what this place had to offer.we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of dishes on the menu all reasonably priced. However we were only after a coffee and snack, and were not disappointed.Certainly be back to sample dishes from the menu
When parking outside this cafe, you wonder what on earth you are going to find as you enter the very ordinary looking little establishment ! It's certainly not flash, tables in the 50's style of dining, but friendly staff. But you wouldn't go here for a quiet romantic meal, nor for a slap up occasion. It's a cafe - but the Indian food is great! For those whose tastes are more 'homely', you can order Australian style meals which looked pretty tasty. But the food is the reason you'd come back - again
Just off the highway east of Bairnsdale is this great little eatery. Aussie breakfasts and Indian style cuisine for lunch make this a top place to visit for a snack or something larger. Great deck which catches the sunshine along with views of a parkland at the rear of the restaurant. Small wine/drinks menu available.
