Country Boy Drive in - Bakersfield

Locally owned and run burger place. They've been a part of the Rosedale/Green Acres community for FOREVER!! Food is good. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because the place could use a face-lift. But otherwise...

I was craving nostalgic diner food and found Country Boy. Not oversaturated with choices to keep it simple. Ordered the teriyaki burger combo and a chili burrito. The burger was made with several thin cuts of steak. A nice surprise! The taste was great but the down side was the heavy amount of sauce soaked the bottom bun, which fell apart as I ate it. The Chili burrito was actually a burrito covered with tons of chili and cheese. My party loved it and said it was one of the best combos they have had. The wait was not long and the staff was very friendly. Go check it out!

Been coming here for year and it never disappoints. My favorite is the teriyaki burger, so so good!!

Although the food has gone up in price, this is a great Bakersfield local business. Same good taste, but price has changed.

My husband wanted a hamburger so we thought we would try the new 5 guys. We walked in and saw the prices and walked out.
