One or the nicest chippys I’ve visited in terms of food quality and it’s always been well cooked. Even though I’ve only popped in a couple times, the girls remembered me and my order which was nice. Only gripe I can have is it’s quite expensive but portions are fantastic to compensate. Parking: Limited parking near the shop Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner

Family and I walked into Shelly’s right before closing time and counter staff and cook were happy to help us. Very ample servings, and great food and friendly service. Appeared to be take-away only, but places to sit and wait. If I didn’t live 4500 miles away I’d eat here often. (Cod and chips were tremendous. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner

First time, certainly not our last. Service and food, both excellent. 100% if your a first timer.. go for the fish and chip , you will not be disappointed. Parking: There are some free spaces at the front, but the car park to the side is paid parking. Just be sure to check the times on the meter when you are using it.
