We had made a reservation and were seated after waiting a few minutes. The atmosphere is pleasant with an open concept. The bar is visible from the dining area. Our waitress appeared to be learning the job as she had to ask for assistance from others to answer our questions about the menu. I ordered a pasta dish with seafood and my husband had taglitelle with salmon. It took longer than we expected for the meals to be served. food was okay. We also were surprised that a salad was not included given the prices of the meals. There was an error on the bill which the cashier was able to rectify once we informed her.
Recently visited this Italian restaurant were very disappointed with our dining experience here. I had lasagne which was bland, all sticky mucky cheese, very little minced beef served with a small side salad. My partner opted for carmella pasta dish which was supposed to be pasta filled with mushroom garlic creamy filling topped with parmesan. This dish was totally without flavour, the parmesan was like fine sawdust. A total waist of money. A front of house staff who displayed a couldn't care less attitude, no one asked if we enjoyed the meal or not, just a dismal experience all round, very pricey for what you got. We opted for crisps in the local pub later which were much tastier than our meal in Larco.
Lovely airy restaurant, great service, great food and very good value. We enjoyed our evening there
Problems were as follows: clearing plate contents onto one plate at table in front of customers, inattention, aloofness by one staff member. Food quality varied between different days as if chefs had different standards but was tasty and excellent. More attention to consistency and customer service would greatly improve things. A welcome/warmth would be good.
Lovely restaurant lovely food and lovely friendly staff however we won’t be back L’Arco needs to review their policy on charging for extras. I requested some Parmesan to sprinkle on my pasta dish which the waitress duly brought and at the same time telling me it would cost an extra 90cent My son got a pizza and we were charged €1.50 extra for some pepperoni Albeit small amounts the dishes were pricey enough quite disappointing
