Johnny's - Baltimore

I like Johnny's. Today, I tried takeaway crab bisque and a side market greens salad. The menu says it includes lump crab meat. So, while I initially thought the $12 price tag was a bit steep, I figured that chunks of lump crab meat would make the price justifiable. Imagine my shock when I pulled the container out of the bag!!! I'm showing it next to a package of water crackers for scale. And my serving did not have much in the way of crab meat slivers, but not one chunk! The $6 side salad in the 5x5 container was nearly as insulting. Come on Tony, Cindy! What the what??? But that's my fault. Pro tip: learn from my mistake and stick with the sandwiches; they are a MUCH better value at a similar price point.

It has been many years since I have dined at this restaurant, so happy I returned. What a refreshing experience, most of it attributed to the service and servers. Staff consist of many young persons, they were so polite, attentative, and courteous. There was a wonderful cohesive work environment, servers seemed to enjoy their jobs and working with each other. Our server, Miranda was top notch, she went above and beyond to make our dinner memorable. Food was well prepared and flavorful, I especially loved the crab bisque. I will return again much sooner than before, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Phenomenal service!! Nicole and Julia were fabulous. The hostess was welcoming and vibrant. Food was stellar! Black Lives Matter sign welcoming me in was icing on the cake. Thank you for going the extra mile with that. We are from out of town where racism has been prevalent so to feel welcome in both word and deed means more than you know. Until we meet again … Sending peace and this black girl is glad she mattered

Food was okay to me. We went for brunch after church. My wife enjoyed her Cuban sandwich. I had the shrimp quesadillas and my son had chicken sandwich. His sandwich was bland. The quesadillas were pretty good. Service was good. Not sure I would go back.

Man ole man, this place was hiding from me. Like, literally tucked in a corner of a plaza on Roland Avenue. This place is great. The staff is extremely professional and well versed in the menu-friendly as well. The berry Christmas cocktail was amazing. The crab bisque was so I good I order a second on for dessert . The salmon dish was great too, but if you like soup and crab- get the soup!
