Anita's Kitchen - Ban Talat Nua

We make a trip to Phuket at least once a year and we always have to make a stop at Anitas restaurant because it is literally one of only a few places which serves authentic Chinese food. I have tried most menu items and I have to say, quite impressive! Having travelled both China and HongKong, many of my favourites are on her menu, it seems like she will only serve the best dishes and maybe that's why it has never gone wrong. If u ever been to Phuket next time, u must go to this mini cafe called 'Anita 's kitchen ' for heavenly good chinese cuisine and homely feel. It 's so good that we went there every day just to try out all her different dishes. She always insists on no msg and less oil in her cooking but it takes a good chef to churn out delicious dishes without these. Even my food fussy sis praised her on almost every single dish. The seemingly simplest and yet toughest to master is the Stir-fried Golden Egg Rice in which she has wonderfully given each grain a golden hue, and each bite is chewy. This only costs 50 baht (2 SGD). She will be around Kathu area and her facebook page will keep you posted on her shop location and menus. Do give it a try!
