The burger seemed to have imploded and fell apart in transit and it was barely warm to the touch. The tea wasn't warm at all. Maybe McDonald's need to store ordered foods better and maybe couriers need to deliver fewer addresses that adds to the time. So unimpressed it went in the bin.
At ten past nine am on the 14th of March I called into McDonald’s at the outlet Banbridge . Having ordered a bacon roll meal with extra hash browns,large Diet Coke and large cappuccino I paid and proceeded to the pick up window of the drive through. On being handed my order I noticed the Diet Coke was missing and drew this to the attention of the staff member. I was informed very abruptly that the Diet Coke wasn’t on my order and was shown a copy of the order to confirm this. She then walked away without another word and continued with her duties. I sat in my car thinking she was organising the Diet Coke and I prepared to pay for the missing part of my order when she suddenly appeared at the widow and again informed me rather rudely that the Diet Coke was not on my order, I hadn’t paid for it and that as she had no way of processing a payment my only options were to either come into the restaurant or drive back round and reorder it. She then quickly left without so much as a basic sorry for your inconvenience. Now anyone can make a mistake when taking an order but this staff member who I think was some kind of supervisor made me feel that I was trying to con the restaurant out of a large Diet Coke and offered me no alternative except to leave my car or drive round again and reorder. She was very unhelpful and bordering on passive aggressive in her manner. I think she missed the day they did customer service training because normally I find the staff really pleasant and helpful.
Staff at counter were extremely helpful Howe shortly after placing tge order the lady came down to my table to inform me “the team were being strange and would not add the requested sauce” When the meal arrived the chips were less than 1/2 full and no sauce had been asked as I had requested. I was between business meetings and didn’t have the time or the patience to complain or request to speak with management. Shocking attitude from the staff making the burgers. Recommend eating at an alternative McDonald’s restaurant such as in Newry or use any of the other eatery’s at The Boulevard in Banbridge. Proof of purchase will be uploaded.
Went to drive through purchased 2 wrap meals no mayo on either. Recipe stated no mayo on either opened them to eat and found both were covered in mayo. Drove back to drive through and complained was given 2 more after a long wait. Was hammering rain outside so got a good soaking for my trouble. Anyway got back to car and both wraps freezing cold went back and asked for manager who was trying to avoid me. Was told they were fresh and didn't see a problem. Told her I didn't want another one would go to kentucky instead. She agreed to refund me didn't give me a receipt said it was refunded still haven't seen it hit my bank account. Ive got to say this is the worst McDonald's I've ever visited. They just don't care I won't be back ever again.
Managed to take the wrong drink order and gave me the wrong burger. Sat for 20 minutes in the drive thru queue before making it to the order point (only 3 cars in front of me. They had loads of staff that seemed totally clueless as to what they were doing. Consistently ****
