Situated on the Highway that connects to Ponda, lies a gem of a open air RestoBar, Adarsh Palace Restaurant Bar..The area is just amazing..On a hill which faces lush greenery and beautiful hills in the vicinity, the place has a unique feeling..Some may find the restaurant poor shabby the way it looks, but friends this is a place I would suggest you visit..<br/ <br/ They have a huge parking space so as to attract more people..The best part is that the Tourist vans or mini buses that ply around the beautiful state have Adarsh Palace as a food stop for lunch..The reason being it 's food quality amazing surroundings..Another thing which came to my notice was that this is one of the few restaurants in Ponda area which is open even after 3 pm..<br/ <br/ They serve cheap Goan, North Indian Chinese cuisines..I 'd suggest Goan, mainly because we are in Goa dishes like Xacuti Cafreal have original tastes here..They have their own way of cooking..Oh yes! Sit on the rooftop..It 's kinda more better in there..Downstairs felt quite claustrophobic, so avoid it..Plus the view from above is nice..<br/ <br/ We ordered Prawns Rawa Fry, King Fish Rawa Fry, Chicken Xacuti with Tandoori Rotis a couple of soft drinks..<br/ <br/ #PRAWNS RAWA FRY (4.5/5): The second time in Goa that I ordered Prawns Rawa Fry again it came without removing the shell..Fortunately, this time the Prawns were well marinated had picked up all the flavours..The Rawa wrapped Prawns were shallow fried to crisp..Though I found the quantity a little less, it was worth..MUST-TRY!!<br/ <br/ KING FISH RAWA FRY (5/5): Before coming to Goa, I thought I had never tasted 'King fish ' ever..I was mistaken though, when I came to know it was one of our very own Surmai 's family! Suggested to me by one of the waiters, we agreed to order one immediately! We surely don 't regret ordering one..The taste was superior..Better than even Surmai itself..MUST-TRY!!<br/ <br/ CHICKEN XACUTI (4.5/5): Special Goan gravy this! You may find Xacuti in other states as well, but to have Xacuti in it 's own place of Origin is pure bliss! Loved the gravy very much! MUST-TRY!!<br/ <br/ TANDOORI ROTI (4/5): Went well with Chicken Xacuti gravy..Would have preferred some butter onto it, nevertheless it was tasting good!<br/ <br/ So, as this review ends, I would love to recommend people to visit here for the food the rooftop experience!!<br/ <br/ AMBIENCE: 4.5/5 (Rooftop)<br/ FOOD: 4.5/5<br/ SERVICE: 4.5/5<br/ VALUE-FOR-MONEY: 4/5<br/ <br/ OVERALL 4.5/5
Location is quite good, but not much options for food. This is a place where you have to bring your own food!!
View was excellent, we sat on rooftop drank liquor and enjoyed view finger chips and chicken manchurian dry, then after a while we ordered cheese garlic naan with chicken ccurry n dal Makhani
The restaurant is always open, serving delicious food with a beautiful view. They also serve a variety of alcoholic beverages.
