Saltlik Steakhouse - Banff

Booked a reservation based on a recommendation of a friend who had been here 11 years ago to get her grape smash. call the restaurant about 2 hours before our time slot to see if we could push it back with little and they were very. was sitting at the top of the restaurant area and was served by joe, who was from wessex. he has advised us about the changes and gave us some recommendations. we ordered the filet and new york strip. both were cooked to perfection, just as we wanted them. it was really good. probably one of the best steaks I've ever had. the chef previously worked in chateau banff. the atmosphere was perfect. it was really a good opportunity to finish our holiday. not sure why this restaurant is not higher because it is absolutely fantastic. we will definitely come back.

That was our favorite restaurant. no longer on the list. we had the best meat cutting the ribey and the lobster-mash potatoes we share the meal. everyone had a beer and little wine. 186.50$ gott was thanks to the maische kartoffeln excellent. I thought our steak knife was very blunt, I cut the steak

What a disappointment. tonight for a special evening and ended without eating. we both ordered the Sirloin steak. I ordered my medium rare and my man ordered his medium. after 30 minutes our dinners arrived. both steaks were completely uncooked (almost close.) we informed our server, who both apologised and returned to the kitchen. minutes later she returned and again the steaks were almost the same as before. at this point we gave up the manager and informed that we were going. for a highly rated steakhouse missed this experience the brand.

The dinner was just ok at saltlik. the restaurant was almost empty for an dinner of 8 o'clock. my stripe-loin steak was not bad. the laugh of my wife was just as good. Unfortunately, the outside doors were open for most meal times and even when they opened. our question was closed, it was still cold.

We went in August 2021 and it was absolutely excellent. Everything was perfect: meals and service. Would definitely go back
