Golden State Vegan Restaurant Bar

After reading the other reviews, I had much higher expectations to eat in this restaurant. I was simply unhappy with the things I have chosen, but I found the tiny portions (also according to Thai standards) rather bland and high prices (ok I get it that they 're paying for a special 'experience than a food dish, but unfortunately, for me, it just didn't come.

I went during the day and would not have required a reservation. the prices are very high, but also I never had such a special vegan sushi choice so somewhat understandable. the other sushi that I had was quite tasteless, but the other (drachen something) was simply amazing. updated by previous review on 2022-10-13

The personal is so friendly. sushi is really good. a must in bangkok.

We were really looking forwards to trying this place and enjoying the Japanese food. Decor and presentation of the venue are top making you feel indulged as soon as you enter. Staff are friendly and generally attentive, service is good. There’s a wide variety of sushi and much of it is unusual and innovative. It’s obvious the proprietors love food and put a great deal of thought into it and present it very well. We enjoyed everything the flavours are rich and textures surprise. Spaghetti pad Thai was rich and flavoursome but mostly spaghetti. While one of the most expensive vegan restaurants in Bangkok, it is in a class if it’s own, so not to be missed.
