Great food nice atmosphere, and friendly staff. Well worth a visit and just off the A55 with plenty of parking
Been to the Harvey's in Llandudno a few times in the past and thought to try out this one in Bangor Before visiting, we had checked on their website for any covid related info (non to mention on the website) so headed over to get a table, however on arrival we were told that it was pre-bookings only, but thankfully as it was only the three of us that they could squeeze us in. Food as always was great, (I had the 4x4 burger, pictured) our server was attentive the only downside I could mention was after ordering our desserts, the order had somehow been forgotten and went unnoticed for 20+ mins resulting in a bit of a rushed remedy resulting in a cold, hot chocolate fudge cake. If you do attempt the 4x4 tower burger, make sure to ask for an extra slice of cheese on the bottom burger, that final piece of meat is just too plain without it considering the whole burger is 32oz in meat. Good luck
We visited this little gem in a hidden place next to Tesco. We visited all the way from midlands and though the style was fantastic. The atmosphere feels like frankie and Bennie or evening a hint of TgiFridays. (But a little quiet for a Sunday evening) I ordered a Harvey tower and my partner ordered bbq burger but basically the same but without the pulled pork and bacon. I rate the food 3.5 out of a 5 star. Presentation is perfect but the burger itself was a little dry and has bits of the processed meat of marrow or bones. Burger was a little dry maybe too well done for our liking. But over all this place is fantastic.! Should support a small business like this!
We hadn't visited Harvey's since the start of the pandemic, and with a new KFC opening nearby, I was curious to see if they had made any improvements to their menu. We went there yesterday, and it was quieter than I remembered from our previous visits. My mom enjoyed the rosé, pizza, and New Yorker cheesecake. I opted for Harvey's mega milkshake, chili dog, and wail, and I must say, everything was still very good. I would recommend this place to others; the staff were very welcoming, and the service was excellent. It's a great spot to eat, and I just hope it's not like the ones in Rhuddlan and Pwllheli.
