Olive Garden Italian - Barboursville

I paid $20 for a dish that included grilled chicken strips in pasta. What i got in my pasta was kids meal breaded chicken tenders grilled in a pan which made the outer layer of the chicken soggy oil-saturated breading. I wouldve much rather just been told they were out of grilled chicken than receive goopy breaded chicken.

Everything was fantastic except the price. It's hard to find a meal under 20.00

Our waiter Dustin was AMAZING. He's great with kids. He was so kind and gracious. When our toddler was a little fussy from sitting there for a long time he noticed immediately and he came over. Super politely said hey do you like puppies? Then asked if he could show us and our toddler pictures of his puppies and 3 kids and our daughter went from grouchy to laughing. Every time she would look at him she would laugh and giggle. He made her day and I'll forever be thankful. Went above and beyond.

We stopped here Today for Dinner, 4- people. I asked the Girl at front for a table that is not in Bar area. She seated us at a table 5 feet from the bar, and beside kitchen door. I went back to front and asked for a different table, she said there were none available. The Restaurant was only half full, I could see at least 20 empty tables, in which I told her. She didn’t even respond, so I told her that we would just go next door to Chili’s, in which we did, they were so nice at Chili’s, I asked the same there, they said sure, sit wherever you like. Big difference in Employee’s !!!

It was good enough that the waitress got a $30 tip for an hour of serving me on a $65.00 bill. Pretty busy for a Saturday evening. Yet we were seated right away.
