Brasserie la Maree - Barfleur

Location is fantastic and staff very friendly, but this is where the good news is finished. Inadequate, constant upselling, asking for some water and offering more wine? Aak for a dish and are asked to buy the most expensive on the menu? Seafood was medium and overpriced. Entrecote was the last straw, full of fat and grip, I'm sorry, but not up to standard

No love to eat here. Saw at 7.10, paid and went around 8.10..... The marmite of fish was terrible, dry pasta, overcooked fish and little of it in a strange turmeric sauce, overcooked vegetables, gray and tasteless. the worst records we had in France for a few years...avoidable.

Delicious seafood as usual. We had a delicious seafood plate and lamb hacks tonight. Great service and friendly welcome team . We always like to visit here when we come to Barfleur as one of the best restaurants in this harbour village ....Would thoroughly recommend to visit someone

15€ for one tea and one coffee, plus 5 mini toasts with butter and jam in saches. We went to have breakfast at 9am. The owner there didn’t ask what we wanted to eat and he wanted to charge us 15€. I said it was...crazy for the terrible quality and finally we paid 8€. What it really gets me upset is the initial thinking of charging double to tourists. Disgusting bread by the way, in France. Go to other options in town!
