As soon as we sat down, someone in our party had a medical emergency and ended up on the floor needing EMS. No one had cell service to call 911, but the restaurant did so immediately and attended to our party until paramedics arrived. We took up a bit of floor space and everyone was so courteous and worked around us to give us the space we needed while continuing to serve other patrons. Once we got everything sorted, some of the party did stick around to order and the food was great! While the chips were standard bagged kettle chips, the sandwich was huge and made it well worth the price. The drinks were also delicious and the rest of the group enjoyed their meals. We will certainly be back!
We came here for dinner on a Saturday night and had a 20 min wait. When we got in, there were lots of open tables so maybe we waited because they were short staffed? Not sure. We ended up going across the street to the Round Barn Public House beer garden (same owner) and the band was playing R.E.M. how great is that? It was raining hard and they were playing under a shed to practically nobody but hey, they were actually very talented. Ok I am rambling. Anyway.... I got the gluten free hot honey pizza and it was pretty awesome. We also got a great salad. I really liked that some items on the menu were marked GF. They had no GF beer, but that's ok. I would come back for sure. There are a lot of breweries around here and I liked that this made an attempt to have some items for the celiacs like me.
We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon while we were out exploring the area. The food was OK and the service was OK. I ordered water instead of soda or alcohol and it was hard to get more water several requests to server. The weirdest thing is that to get the bathrooms, you walked through the food pass where all the servers are finishing plates and putting everythibg together on the trays to deliver the food. The indoor area is very loud with table talk (very loud big table screaming and yelling from one end to the other) and echoing but the patio area probably would be more comfortable.
Certainly wouldn't recommend for the food or if you're in a hurry. It took us over an hour (after ordering) to get our food. The food quite expensive for the quality and we didn't receive any compensation for the inconvenience of our very lengthy wait. The ribs were served cold with an acidic sauce and the sides were lacking. The steak had good flavor, but the mashed potatoes were too salty to eat. The potatoes chips came out of a bag, but the chicken pesto sandwich wasn't too bad.
Cool brewery in the small town of Baroda. The space itself is nice, whether sitting at the bar or in the dining room which is open and airy with tons of windows. There is a HUGE beer garden across the street that looks fun, but my first visit was in the winter. Beers were delicious, and food looked amazing though we didn't eat, aside from the pretzel bite appetizer (the cheese sauce was delish! . Will need to come back to check that beer garden and the food out!
