Restaurant El Asador - Bayonne

I had such high expectations for MugaritzI was in San Sebastian 5 years ago, and wasn't able to get a reservation here.

Excellent ingredients._Fantastic service.__Terrible flavor combinations It was honestly bad tasting.

So here's the bottom line.

Went here our first night, one of our group speaks French , waiter was superb, suggested great rose, every entree was excellent, the meat eaters thought the duck was the best they have ever had, fish eaters thought the codfish, especially the fried garlic and potatoes were excellent

We had a very special and personalised dinner. It was excellent! The staff is more than friendly and the place is beautifully decorated with mural paintings. Amazing!
