Very disappointed with the food quality and service at Sal's Ristorante, in Chippewa, Pa! Saturday night, let's enjoy a nice Italian Dinner with Friends. The menu was just the right size, not too big, and not too small! I was ready for some Aglio e Olio, which they served with a linguine pasta! I added some fresh broccoli for a small additional fee! We ordered a round of drinks from the bar and had a short wait for our food, which was nice to see on a Saturday Night! My linguine was served by handing it to my brother in law, who passed it to his sister, who passed it to her sister, who passed it to me! Are you kidding me? This was two servers who stood at one end of a table for six, and passed everything down the line...yum! A definite minus mark for the table service! Okay, time to enjoy the meal; Unfortunately, the water had not been completely drained from the pasta, and it floated in a bowl of aglio e olio, which made it taste weak! I enjoyed a slice of tasty garlic toast, which was served with the meal! It was delicious and had more garlic than the linguine! Dinner over, a little conversation, colder weather, I decided to order a late night cup of coffee. The server again set a cup of coffee down, and promptly left our area. No saucer, cream, sugar, or even a spoon! I guess I'm lucky I enjoy my coffee black! Alright, my votes are in; Scale of 1 5 Why am I here? For Food! Nice menu, but the watered down pasta, like oil and water, did not sit well; I rate it at 3! How was the service? Perhaps they were understaffed? Perhaps they were extremely busy? Even if I were to take the events into consideration, I cannot rate the service more than a 2! The restaurant and location are nice, but parking spaces are few, unless you go to other adjacent lots! This visit to Sal's, I give an overall rating of 3! Thank You

The atmosphere at Sal's was very welcoming and the food was as good as expected. I want to visit again and try some other items from the menu.

Jacki, The staff you have employed are outstanding! Stopped in for the second day in a row! We had Josh today and he was just as amazing as Anna. Told us about the specials and when we asked for a side of marinara to go with the alfredo he let us know about the Rosè sauce. Another awesome experience. Great people amazing food! Absolutely recommend

Sals is one of our all time favorite places to eat! We love to sit on the bar side and watch all the TVs, people and workers. Last night, we split a calzone with pepperoni and green peppers...our wonderful waitress had it cut in half and come out on two plates...AMAZING! I had a bowl of wedding soup. It had a great flavor, but it was lukewarm at best. My husband had beans and greens. He says it is the best around, and he tries it everywhere. If this is your first time I would say try the beans and greens if that is your thing and get a build your own calzone or the Buffalo chicken calzone. I also like several of their sandwiches, and the salads are huge!
