The Wandering Griffin - Beavercreek

After looking forward to coming here to meet up with friends, we were disappointed that it took 1:20 to receive our food. Our server would not check on our table. We had to finally ASK her to clear the table after all of the dishes had piled up and left little room to actually eat. Unfortunately, none of us will return here to eat which is unfortunate because a few of us are in Dayton often to meet up for dinner/drinks.

The service from our server was fine but it took a long time to get our food. It was a surprise party for my wife and we had to sit in a crowded bar area. Some of our guests did not get food for over a hour. We have normally had good trips here so maybe this was just a fluke. Thanks!

Food and service were good! The ambiance was good and they have a good beer selection. It was pretty loud in there, but the patio was pretty quiet and I would probably opt to sit out there next time if the weather is ok.

Food is pricey not worth the money. Server was good though.

The food was delicious. Our server was very nice. But they were having major issues (maybe no kitchen staff? because we waited for an hour after ordering our food. Our server was running around like crazy, and even made the cocktails some of us ordered. This was our first time, and I’m not sure if it was a fluke, but they were super unorganized/lacked employees. We also made a reservation on Open Table, and the person at the front said they are “locked out of their account on open table, so we can’t see reservations”. Eek
