We found it in our gps device and stopped because the children wanted dinner already. What a pleasant surprise! great home made dishes, loved by locals and pilgrims alike (the restaurant is on one of the ways to Santiago, so the name km 101). We ordered mussels, white bean stew, stuffed bell peppers, beef tenderloin (shared) for the children. Most other gests where having fabulous burgers. The desserts wehre all home made, including the coconut ice cream. That was very surprising! Even more surprising was the bill: four happy people (two preteenagers) with full bellies: 53 Euro. Worth another 15 € tip. Great place, great food, great service, great price.
I’m from Vancouver, Canada so I’ve had my share of veggie burgers. And I must say, this place has the BEST veggie burger I’ve ever tried. The owner of the restaurant was so friendly too, handing out pinxos to the pilgrims and telling them about different options available on the Camino. I highly recommend dining here, especially if you are a pilgrim!
