We stayed at the Beit El Tawlet guest house above, so this was both our hotel breakfast place and our lunch for several days. The concept is a Lebanese buffet which is cooked by various women/cooks from Lebanon every day. Sooo delicious! Very recommended!!
What a beautiful experience.. an open buffet with fresh food cooked by farmers. and the products sold there are great. must take the olive oil and the raw oak honey home.
You will not get a better taste of local homemade foods than in Tawlet. You have ladies from different areas cooking every weekday and you will always get different food recipes to try. Not only is the food amazingly good, but you also learn a lot about the various recipes and ingredients. The ladies are beautiful and great to speak and so is the rest of the staff.
Hidden place in the dead end of open buffet every day except Sunday. Great dishes, but there are few meats. Fresh orange juice, yoghurt drink and water at your meal. Alcoholic drinks are extra. Service people great and friendly. Two people with coffee and alcohol are 110,000 LBP. It's very deserved.
If you want your guests from out of town to savor the diversity of lebanese food within a short timeframe, this is the place to take them to!
