The lobster was small. If I wanted a salad they wanted to charge me an additional $2.49! The place was practically empty on Easter. My dinner companion ordered shrimp and lobster tacos but they were deep fried. She couldn’t tell which was which. Margarita was$9 so I declined.
I went with my son on the spur of the moment. We dined in and as always it was a pleasant enough experience. The service was great but there weren't many people there at this time. The waitress was friendly and patient and made our dining experience great. My son has dietary restrictions and trying to pick something he can eat without getting sick was difficult. However, our waitress was most patient and was even able to offer suggestions.
My husband wanted to eat endless shrimp, I will not be returning ever again. We had to wait 5 minutes just for someone to come up and great us. Then they told me I could order happy hour drinks, then came back and said I couldn’t? The service was slow. The Caesar salad was drenched and I could only eat half of it, then when I got my fish topped with lobster, this too was drenched in sauce, tiniest pieces of fish, it was absolutely gross. One of the types of shrimp my husband order with bacon literally was served in what looked and tasted like grease. Had to wait 10 minutes for a box while not busy, had to wait 10 minutes for my check. Super disappointing I spent any money here and has to be the worst meal I have had in the last 10 years.
It 's been years since I 've been there. And back then. The food was so so delicious. The recipes have changed and some of the food has no flavor. The lobster for instance was kind of stringy and mushy and I wasn 't impressed. I don 't think they have the same type of high standards they used to. I remember the 1982 commercials that featured the jingle, Red Lobster for the seafood lover in you . No more for me.
9/9/22 again another great dinner at Red Lobster. Tried the new Crispy Brussels Sproutsas my upgraded side. See picture. They are amazing. I'm a huge sprouts lover. I hope these stay on the menu forever. It was enough for two. Dinner was awesome. Kirsten was a very attentive server. We did the endless shrimp dinners. I started with the grilled shrimp and friend shrimp and a salad. Then got the coconut shrimp which will be my lunch tomorrow. Even had a chocolate wave dessert as a reward. Would highly recommend this location.
