Homecoming Restaurant - Bellefontaine

Only people at 3 tables and 4 waitresses. the service was terrible. they were too busy talking. when she finally commanded him, it took a long time to get the food. the meat on my taco salad was hard and cold and not very much of it. I was just not impressed.

We stopped to eat something, the waitress greeted us and gave us our table. looked down, get the menus. I stole our drinks and never came back to take our order. there were 3 tables plus our table and 2 waitresses, 2 more tables were occupied when we waited for someone to take our order. I waited there for about an hour while we saw that other tables get their food. when the other waitress finally decided to take our order, she said, she thought that the other girl had taken our order, but there is no “I thought” here. they should have come to our table and ask if we need something else since the other girl decided to take her time. I am hispanic, I don't know if this is the reason why they didn't want to take our order. we decided to leave the place and the other waitress told us we were good to go, we were not asked to pay for our drinks, they apologized for the behavior of the other waitress? ps: I came to pay for a service, not to come and ugly faces look at us. Anyway, if I could evaluate this a 5 star, I would! terrible experience!

I wasn't interested in eating. Swiss steak and gravy tasted strange, and the kartoffels had a few clumps in it and they needed more butter and milk to make them creamy. they were too dry. I asked about hot tee and they had no English breakfast tee bag. they had the most strange. they should drop them and stay on ground. the salate was too cold. they must put the salat in a refrigerator that was not so ice-cold. really disappointing. I miss eating that was served there years ago when the james family owned it. this place used to be a great restaurant. my man and my son said you were eating okay, but they ordered various to eat. they didn't say it was good. the help was nice. the poor waitress had to wait for all five tables. she had no other waitress. so kudos on the help.

The waitress was very nice and attentive. the food was disgusting and could have been boiled a little longer. I got the lachspatties and they were gooshy and not crispy as they should have been. my partner got the leber and wobbles and it should have been cooked a little longer.

Such a lovely place. We loved the coziness of the restaurant and how warm and welcoming the staff are. They were very quick and the food was delicious.
