German kartoffels in the restaurant had so much vinegar in them that we could not eat them. I ordered a side order of spatzel and what they brought me was rubber-like, as they were left over, reheated in a microwave and seen better days. I sent it back and got a new job that was made fresh and it was a bit better, but still tasted rubber. one of the ladies ordered the black forest cake. what was served was a chocolate layer of cake pane on a plate that was clear with pink tinge sauce. there were no cries between the layers of black forest cake. most of us said we wouldn't return. we all thought eating was a lot overpriced for what you have. on Saturday there were no German bands. we were very disappointed all together in the experience
We're here for the first time for birthday. we had a good service and all enjoyed their appetizers and escape. the only thing we complain about was that we were charged $1,00 per person to ask a plate and fork for our cheesecake we broke in. the waitress even wanted to ask the manager if that was the case and it was. I felt bad for the waitress. you could say she felt clumsy to tell us so we just paid it without making a problem.
This place looked ready to close well. no music on a Friday night, we had terrible service that took 20 minutes to get water and drinks. they have put our order twice. it was all about the worst experience I had here
Hbh st. louis has normalized after the polilitized/weaponated debacle that was COVID-19. we had a great experience (food, service, cleanliness, etc.) in the hope that they will soon become normal again and customers will get back in so that they can be completely open again.
I’ve been to the place before and it was a great experience. But I guess covid did its wonder and the atmosphere is not what it was before. Great food and beer though
