Cape Fear Seafood Company Waterford

Made reservation and was seated immediately in quiet section in back of restaurant. Hailey was an excellent server, great recommendations when asked and a wonderful sense of humor. Salads were delicious and my dinner was prepared very well, just a little too much pepper on my saltimbocca fish. My husband ordered the stuffed flounder which he stated was good, but very small portion. Desserts were also delicious. Would definitely recommend and will dine there again.

This was our 3rd or 4th visit to Cape Fear Seafood we dined with two other couples, one of whom had never dined here before. The service was wonderful, as usual. Everyone enjoyed their meal. One friend and I had the shrimp and grits and it was my third time having that dish. In all honesty, it wasn't the best I've had there. Very tasty but the sauce was a little too soupy. My friend mentioned the same thing. The other couple had shrimp and scallops and found that it wasn't up to its usual quality very good, but they've had better in previous visits. Two people had the sauteed spinach and couldn't eat it. Not only did they not taste the garlic and lemon but when I tasted it to test the flavor I couldn't even swallow it as it was tough and very bitter. They chose not to say anything to the server. The bread was about as bland as white Italian/French ? could get. Sorry about this review but although we really like this restaurant it wasn't up to its usual quality.

Excellent as usual. I always have the same at lunch, fish and chips basket. Best around by far.
