Good eating and cheap for what they get in portion size is good. the waiters are courteous, attentive and friendly definitiw worth visiting.
This restaurant specializes in sparingly that they grow close to, is the white sorts that are preferred and more common in Germany. it is served in any kind of wise, with hollandaise, with butter and sink or in a buffet in a lot of dressed. in winter it is the place for geese. they can order a whole for 4, served with dumplings, red cabbage, spruten, half a birne with cranberries and much gravy. there are many options on the menu, fish, meat and kartoffels with different fillings. there is a main restaurant, an extra heated tent in winter and they can also eat outside in summer. eating is plentiful and tasty, there is a good choice of crying and the service is good.
This place is specialized in white spargel and is located in the middle of the fields without official address (GPS users please give either latitude 50 degrs.58' 2.1, longitude east 6 degrs.41' 56.219 or 'cologne hollow path' and follow the signs that they take off the main road.) We...had a relatiw formal dinner for 10 people early on a Friday night, the restaurant has an extension in a marquee tent, but tables were beautifully set with fabric serviettes, candles and real flower arrangement. eating was excellent with a relatiw small but varied menu that should cover every taste. prices very reasonable, but service while very friendly slow in this night. in any case worth a visit if they are in the opposite.
