Taylor's Neighborhood - Berlin

The place was extremely clean and nice. Waitress came by a few times but never offered to refill my tea. Otherwise, she was very polite. Tip reflected our opinion. Food- I had the fish and chips. First taste was good. Overall flavor was very good. The fish either had freezer burn or was cooked way too long and was not good at all. All sides of fish were leather tuff. Small area in center was almost cooked properly and not chewy. Couldn't finish eating. Partners food was also cooked to much. She was unable to finish her meal also. Won't be back.

The food was subpar unfortunately for the price that was listed. The service was nice but the portion was underwhelming and food bland. The flies. The flies were what earned the review. Not a single sign of any attempts to hang fly traps of any sort. There were at least 4 separate flies bothering us. And then it landed on our food and it was nasty .

My husband and I had a great experience until he got the fried shrimp! No doubt, it came out of a box! No excuse. Not like the old Taylor's fried shrimp! Regardless, you should know better! Will not be back until we hear your fried shrimp has changed! It tasted like minced shrimp! You can do better! BTW, your ahi tuna was to die for!

Our server Marie was awesome, the tuna nachos were bucket list worthy. OC

Food was great, Service very poor, had another server go find our waitress (Julie C) just to take our order, then she never checked on us, had to go to bar for refill on soda. Someone else brought our appetizers and food out. She did not deserve the tip we left. You can have great food and bad service, and it still makes it a bad place to eat.
