L'Ancora Restaurant - Berlin

Beautiful little local on a side street. for the presentation of the appetizer there’s a drop in the spot, as the teller was all around dirty as if he stood long next to the heart. pizza good, for me was just the teig too thick.

A beautiful traditional Italian trattoria right next to the city ibis west at fehrbellinger square. good, delicious Italian cuisine, all standard pizza/pasta combinations as well as a small selection of good wine options. also make cocktails. the bill for 7 of us with 2 courses plus wein plus cocktails was 230 €. menu in german, but nice waitress translated article in english. we came last year for the first time during a conference and were there twice in 5 days and make this year the same!

Great food / great prices. our waitress tatiana was incredible! Many thanks for the fact that they took care of us especially at the interior of the silvester.

Around the corner from the ibis berlin west. a great place to eat. very cheap. very friendly staff. would definitely be eating back here.

At a conference at the free university I was looking for a cheap hotel near a subway line and found the ibis berlin western restaurants in the neighbourhood was limited and to the luck the l’ancora was just around the corner. I have eaten my first full day in berlin because of the comfort (and my jetlag) at night. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent both service and eating. the place itself is not big with several tables inside and a few outside. I had a nude dish and even with a glass wee was the price appropriate. I liked eating so well that I returned about a week later before I left berlin. this time I had a fish dish and was once again impressed by eating and the service. I definitely recommend it.
