Operation (at least our) was not the fastest. absolutely reserve as very popular. Not very cost-effective, but overall good value for money. Only on lukewarm summer evenings you can sit very nice and quiet outside.
Great location on the Spree right in the middle of the beautiful green Charlottenburg, beautiful location with a terrace in summer we sat outside, very friendly service Ingenious German tapas like Königsberger Klöße in Mini, Currywurststück, plums in the bacon simply funny interpretation totally delicious Schnitzel selection, no hungry portions, so also what super hungry meats vegetarian
ANNEX After in vain spontaneous start-ups we booked this time via an open table, a table at the desired time and at the desired time. That was great. A reservation confirmation was sent immediately by e-mail. A reservation is strongly recommended as the carving in Alt Lietzow is very popular. This is also not surprising because the dishes taste very good. After a very friendly reception we were led to our table and shortly afterwards there was a welcome beer on the table and the cards were handed over. We chose German tappas, from which the card holds a very good selection and decided to use for trout cream with rye beads, small calfsfrikadellen as well as fried blood sausage with applemus. You can choose 3, 6 or 12 tapas. As an appetizer and impression we had 3 dishes, which were served fresh bread. The main course then allowed to wait something that did not hurt in view of the previously enjoyed appetizers. I could taste the Wiener Schnitzel with potato and cucumber salad. It was as thin as a calf carving must be very good and tasted, but the pannade should have been a bit more pale and especially crispy. The fact that the panade threw such small bubbles is an indication that the carvings are unfortunately pre-used. My salad with the slices of the unpandered calf carving had tidy dressing and was nice oily I like that. The meat was tender and also very good. My companion was not so enthusiastic about it and did not want to act. Other small reviews that influence the evaluation refer to the location. The clean sanitary facilities are only accessible via a narrow, steep spiral staircase in the basement floor and then again over a few steps. The noise level in the restaurant, which fills up at night, was also casual and obstructed by a conversation over the table. It could be a little quieter in the secluded room. All this, however, does not really prevent us from returning to this simple and rustically decorated place, because the service is impeccable, the acceptance was easy to warm and the prices are more accurate see under menu on the homepage are appropriate. The audience is also pleasant. With drinks and tips, our bill for 2 people was €50.
Very nice restaurant with interesting idea: Typically German dishes served as tapas, so in manageable portions, all but very delicious!
As an Austrian I went through hell with Schnitzel in Berlin. The carving has absolutely reconciled me!!!! Perfect carving, big like car wheels and crispy. They even have pumpkin seed oil I am totally thrilled! Next
