Uncle Sams Bbq - Bessemer

A plate of my ribs over cooking and burned. I took her back and the manager said with an attitude that he did not replace her. If you buy ribs, check them before you go. I was very disappointed with the customer service. They do not care to satisfy their customers. I'll never go back there.

I never stopped. Always line around the building... Tonight I went to the dining room that placed my order and it wasn't at all that they called me. Three plates fully loaded under $50.00 customer service was so sweet, competent and fast. Potato salad, Coleslaw and Pommes are delicious. Rib tips are generous with delicate, well smoked and seasoned meat. So good. Thanks!!!

My family and I love eating with Uncle Sams, it's one of our favorite BBQ sites. I would normally give them a four-star rating. However, improvements must be made in order to obtain a better review. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting on Saturday afternoon! Spider webs were in places that, if properly cleaned had not been there. In the bathroom of the woman was a dead cheek on the ground! And I know that certain employees had to see the bug when I was there and I personally saw that one of them went in there while I was eating. But they didn't clean the bathroom. It really makes you wonder if the kitchen is as disgusting as the bathrooms!! We are big fans of ribs here, but the ribs were missing taste this time. Not to mention most of our ribs. Definitely not what you are known for excellent rib apart from a place like this! The baked beans were as always excellent. The young man who took my order was very nice. I get used to an unpleasant woman who usually has a bad attitude. So it was great to actually have a great friendly employee for a change. Usually the employees are not very friendly.

I had the BBQ chicken plate baked with potato salad beans! The sauce from this restaurant has kept me coming for more. I never really favored any other BBQ joint sauce, unlike me with Sam 's. It is not only the BBQ, but also the sauce they make with the baked beans. My hands down eating favorite thing here is the potato salad! My whole life I didn't like potato salad, but Sam's from the chain! It's made this yellow mustard like your typical kind. You just have to try! And what really seals the deal is her cake! It is literally the cherry at the end of a very good meal!

I don't know what's going on with their food but uncle Sam's has been my go to spot every Friday. I'm ending it today. Last 5 visits chicken and ribs were terrible. Overcooked, cold, and tasteless. They are drowned in sauce to make up for the bland taste. Meat is smoked over a pit but does not have a bit of smoke flavor. I always ask for sauce on the side so I can enjoy the flavor. The sauce didn't even compliment the meat today. Just awful!
