Finally we sat and said we could go to the buffet or wait for a server to take our drinks orders. we got our food and still wait for the server. Finally, my man discovered a pitcher of water at the station of the server and gave us at least some water. When the server had finally come, I reopened the coffee I got pretty fast, but it was cold. he came back with a refill of coffee and still cold. finally thrid refill = before we were ready to leave was hot. eating was very good, but not great, and the entire ambiente of the hahnraum was loud and chaotic, not in the elegant stylish atmosphere we had experienced in pastness.
Special thanks to bonnie for the personal touches she added to make our visit extra special
I love it here. so historic and great ambiente. lobster roll was super like chicken salad croissant!
We were celebrating a belated anniversary due to covid- They greeted us with. card and complimentary champagne-which was nice. The food was excellent but there was a wedding party cocktail hour in the lobby and the noise was overwhelming. They were there almost our entire dinner. The 1741 room is beautiful and they still had the holiday decor up unfortunately- I would have liked to been informed of the party outside the room.
Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and the ambiance was lovely. We had a peaceful delicious meal.
