Stacks Pancake House - Bettendorf

I ordered the Meat Lover's Omelette and couldn't quite finish it. It came with a generous portion of crispy hash browns that covered the plate. I'm looking forward to trying their pancakes next time. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

I absolutely love Stack's! The staff is consistently friendly, the food is scrumptious, and the service from the waitresses is top-notch. I highly recommend this place if you want a tasty and budget-friendly breakfast option.

A group of six of us visited Stacks on Sunday morning. I ordered a side of hash browns and requested them to be cooked crispy. However, when they were brought to the table, they were not crispy, so I asked the waitress to take them back. She returned and said they were too busy to cook them more and could only do that during the week. I felt frustrated that they couldn't accommodate my request. Additionally, when my friend tried to pay with her Visa gift credit card, they claimed it was a scam and refused to accept it. The overall experience was disappointing and the food was expensive. I spoke with the manager who apologized but did not resolve the issue. I was not satisfied with the service and will not be returning to Stacks.

I saw other reviews online that said to go with their ?riverboat? skillet. Boy am I glad I went with this choice. It was fantastic! The biscuits were some of the fluffiest I?ve had, and sausage gravy makes everything better. Small little quaint spotnext to a gas station. Sometimes those are the best places. The staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly.

Better diners in the area. To begin with, the food was rather disappointing, I ordered the southern style breakfast and cinnamon roll pancakes. The gravy on the biscuits and gravy was soured. The sausage links weren't the best quality or cooked till crisp,the scrambled eggs were undercooked as well and the pancake was rather good. Diner was busy when I went so maybe put it up tothat. TLDR: only go here if you're looking for pancakes or it isn't busy
