Der Service wirkt hier und da etwas unorganisiert, die Drinks jedoch sind lecker und die Atmosphäre gut. Die Qualität der Speisen ist hervorragend.
Went here for dinner with my business colleagues. The service was the biggest disappointment. After we arrived we did not get bread for a long time, drinks came late or were forgotten. We waited for 20 minutes after our mains for someone to come and take the plates away and another 10 minutes to have a desert menu. And the cherry on the top is they lost my umbrella. At the end of our dinner around 11 PM there were only 2 service staff in the restaurant. This is simply not acceptable for the fine dining experience this restaurant wants to offer. The food is ok-ish. The starter was interesting. The steak - they have a special grill with 800 degrees top heat that should make a better crust. Honestly I felt the buzz is not worth the result. You can obtain a better taste with a bit of practice on your home grill. On top the beef is wet-aged while it should be dry-aged. For the prices they ask I would at least expect dry-ageing. Needless to say that prices are expensive but this is what you can expect in Zurich
A beautiful setting. Idyllic overlooking the lake. Food and service are both impeccable. We started our touring of Zurich with a lunch here and couldn't have picked a better spot to begin. The location is very central and walkable to major sites.
The restaurant was a last minute choice but the nice concierge folks from the park hyatt called and we were able to get a high table at the back of the restaurant - actually worked out pretty nicely with our 11 year old. The lady who took our orders was great and convinced me not to have the lamb not for any other reason that she did not like it much as a personal preference so i ordered the wagyu beef. we ordered two starters and both were great but the tuna was just wonderful. My son ordered a pasta which was supposed to come with a basil tomato sauce as clarified by our head waitress. When it came it did not have any sauce and as soon as we pointed it out to the lady she took the plate away and apologized profusely and five mins later brought it back with the sauce. Adding the cooked sauce on top just did not do it for him though and this was the only small flaw in the otherwise perfect service and food. Let me come to the main point though the steak was so wonderful - i got it medium to medium rare but it was so soft i literally could cut it with the wrong side of the knife. As my son was waiting for his pasta I gave him a piece and he loved it so much he ordered the steak in addition to the pasta and the 11 year old guy finished it too. Though i did take my loaned piece back. It was just wonderful. The wine offered by the glass was very nice too. We called for some sides in mushrooms and vegetables and both were just done right. My wife called for the prawns which were gigantic but very juicy and nicely made. The steak is almost a 100 CHF but if you want to have the best steak in your life then spend it - just the best. Dessert was a lava cake - though they called it something else and it took 12 minutes for them to cook - could have taken longer and we would have waited because it was worth it. The bar is very well stocked and i was even able to find a nice rye to sip. The young lady behind the bar had a passion about her in shaking the drinks to perfection. Well worth a visit and if you want a steak this is it guys and gals.
