Happy River - Bilbao

It was absolutely fantastic: wonderful, very fresh, very tasty food, very nice and friendly service, pleasant atmosphere, nice view. Great concept, highly recommended.

Where to begin?! We arrived at the restaurant at 1950hrs, to be told the kitchen doesn't open until 2000hrs, so no problem at all. Waiter took our drink order and we waited and waited. Some 20 minutes later, our drinks arrived. Restaurant only had around 20 people in it, so hardly busy, especially when there were 6 waiting staff all talking amongst themselves. After another 15 minutes, our food order still hadn't been taken, but people coming in after us, had had their orders taken. We finally managed to grab a member of staffs attention. We placed our order and waited. Our food finally came out 25 minutes later. Well, a dreadfully disgusting burger was plonked on the table. I picked my burger up and the bottom bun was soggy, literally full of fat. The plate was swimming in fat from the burger. I took one bite and it was vile! My fiancées burger was marginally better, but inedible. We tried for over 15 minutes to grab staffs attention, but they were too busy talking to one another. Other people were complaining about their food, so it wasn't just us. Let's just say, we will never go back and absolutely would not recommend the restaurant to anyone

Brilliant place to go for some drinks, snacks and a really pleasant experience along the river. It’s slightly off the beaten track and it’s replaced a really nothing-area with a great place to go. The staff are also so friendly

Me ha encantado el brunch! Hemos comido un montón, con muy buena calidad, riquisimo! Es verdad que es un poco caro, pero sales lleno y el sitio además es precioso!!

Súper rico todo y la presentación de las bebidas superan las expectativas. Pude observar otras bebidas de diferentes clientes y su presentación son diferentes de lo normal muy guapo el lugar.
