Located funnily surrounded by fashion stores in Glenfield Westfield Shopping Centre, this expresso coffee bar is nothing special with below average customer service. Had salmon eggs benedict which was nothing special but cold.
Nestled between a scarf shop and a women 's clothing store in Westfield Glenfield, DFC Espresso offers a nice place to relax and rest your shopping exhausted limbs. Both their sweet and savoury muffins are good; fresh, toasty and HUGE. On my most recent visit, I enjoyed myself a nice hot cup of mochaccino, the drink of choice for a weak coffee drinker like yours truly. Topped with a dusting of chocolate and served with marshmallows, the mochaccino was okay; a little pricier than other cafes, though the taste was fine. DFC Espresso also serves all day breakfast for when you 're feeling like a 'better ' option than the offerings from the fast food chain dominated food court. While I can 't personally vouch for it, the meals at the neighbouring tables looked plentiful and tempting. What I really like about DFC Espresso is that the staff here are so friendly they 're always smiling and they look genuinely happy to be there too... even when they 're rushed off their feet at some busier times (which seems to be all the time). Unlike some of the other cafes in the mall establishment which are either located in the hectic food court or awkwardly in the middle of the mall aisle, DFC Espresso has its own little relatively private area. Overall, a good choice for a quick caffeine stop before conquering the next set of shops.
