I went to the Full Moon located inside the student center. I ordered the two chili cheese dogs as well as a side Greek salad. The hotdogs were better than I expected! The Greek salad was good, but I wanted certain toppings off, and they came with all the toppings. The food was pretty good, and I did not wait very long, maybe 5 minutes. The staff was friendly and there were no Covid protocols in place. I would definitely stop by again!
On Tuesday I visited full moon in the Hill student center. I ordered the buffalo chicken tenders and French fries. I also ordered a large orange fanta. I would rate the food a solid 6 out of 10. Only because it was not the best thing I've had from there but it also was not the worse thing either. I stood in line for about 9 minutes before I ordered my food and I waited about 10 minutes for my food to get done. The chicken tenders was not as fresh as I've had them before but the fries were delicious and hot! The service was good when I was ordering my food and the employees were super polite. I sat down in the student center and enjoyed my meal. There was not a lot of Covid-19 protocols but some the employees did have on mask. I know restaurants have there ups and downs but I was kind of disappointed in full moon this go around considering the fact I eat there 3-4 times a week. I will definitely be back to order the same thing maybe a week or two from now and I hope it will be so much better.
I usually don't prefer to eat any of the food on campus if I'm being honest, but today I decided to get Full Moon while I waited on my class. I ordered the grilled tenders combo and it was better than I expected. However, I never feel as there is a ton of flavor when I order from here and the workers don't create the most welcoming environment. It is also quite pricey for the quality, so if you aren't using dining dollars I would not suggest wasting your money on it. The line does move quickly and the food is often ready sooner than the other restaurants on campus, so that is one plus. Most of campus has gone back to pre-covid protocols, so there is no restrictions or social distancing when ordering. There is also not an option for ordering online via grubhub, so there is really no option if someone is hesitant regarding covid.
I went to Full Moon at about 3:30pm. They were out of what I originally intended to get (and also my favorite meal from there) which is the grilled chicken caeser salad. So, I decided to get a regular cheeseburger instead with no tomato. It was not very tasty. Also, for the price Full Moon charges, I expect better! For some reason the burger was really wet . They drenched it in mayo and ketchup. It was very disappointing because I have enjoyed their burgers in the past. However, this one was very flavorless. I would also like to not that the employees are not always friendly, and they rush you through the line, even when there is no line. This place is located in the UAB Hill Center which currently has no COVID restrictions or social distancing.
