Contribuisci feedbackWent here for a business dinner. Their staff were very attentive. The place is clean and the food was great. Their sushi platter were presented well and taste good as well. Highly recommend the beef on skewers. It is perfectly cooked and tastes great! The only thing missing here is the knowledge of their waiting staff in terms of food being served. It was not explained and when asked have to go back to the kitchen and get the answer. It was overall a bit pricey but gives good value in terms of quality.
For anyone looking for a quality restaurant experience, look no further than oko. I came in last Sunday for my sisters birthday and our experience was lovely. The food was delicious, I had the black cod which was cooked to perfection flaky and delicious along with rock shrimp which had excellent texture. As an avid fan of Japanese cuisine, we were more than impressed. One issue I had were that the fries weren’t seasoned enough but the Manager came over personally to sort it out for us. This is rare and we were happy that the dedication to customer service was displayed. Thank you oko for having us we’ll be back soon!!
We come last December and had a lovely meal. Spent alot of money way over £150 between two. This time we’ve come for Mother’s Day. Waited over a hour for a starters (they got it wrong and brought sushi out) then our mains was 50 min wait and they also got that wrong too. We got our mains and then was waiting 10 minutes for our sides to come out. Woman’s toilets were disgustingly dirty, toilet paper everywhere, sinks were covered in hair. Very disappointed in this restaurant as we had such a good turn out last time
Booked a table at the restaurant and a booth afterwards for my birthday; payed a £100 deposit for the booth. 10 days before I had to cancel because half of my friends got covid and were isolating so I had to cancel, I text nuvo on WhatsApp about this and they said it’s non refundable and they ‘can’t’ refund me. However no where on their website or never did they tell me the deposit was non refundable and after I questioned this they blanked the message and have not replied back to me. This is highly unprofessional and terrible customer service. Also ILLEGAL they legally can not withhold an £100 deposit unless clearly stated so in terms and conditions and IT WAS NOT! (Or ever even mentioned it was non refundable) Clearly a ploy to scam more money.
I went to Nuvo with friends for a birthday night out. Paid £10 each to get in we went upstairs. Shortly afterwards a waitress comes over and tells us we can sit anywhere because it’s ALL reserved. She wouldn’t tell us where to go instead. Extremely unprofessional as we should have been told this before we all paid £10 to get in. Unhelpful staff, music ok. Wouldn’t go back there again.
