Papa Pizza - Birmingham

Avoid ordering from Papa Pizza if you live in a newly built estate. When the delivery man arrived, he complained about the difficulty of finding my apartment and insisted that I provide more detailed instructions in the future. Despite providing my phone number, the delivery driver did not call for directions. As I stood at my door, the delivery man continued to berate me, even when my cat escaped. He criticized my cat's behavior and refused to stop talking. The experience was frustrating and unnecessary. I just wanted my pizza.

The only thing worth eating were the onion rings, which pretty much sums up our thoughts on the food we ordered. In other words, it was not good. We've had worse, but we won't be ordering from here again. Also, like another reviewer mentioned, the delivery time was over an hour.

My family and I decided to try out a new restaurant for a takeaway meal. We ordered from Papa Pizza and found the prices and telephone service to be satisfactory. The person who took our order mentioned that our food would arrive in 45-55 minutes. After waiting for 55 minutes with no sign of the delivery, we called the restaurant and were informed that the delivery person had just left. The restaurant is only a 10-minute drive from our home, so we were perplexed by the delay. Another 20 minutes passed with still no delivery, so we called again and were told that the delivery person had already left. We assumed that he was close by. However, after waiting for an additional 10 minutes, we called for the third time, and it took the restaurant at least 5 minutes to answer. When we finally got through, we expressed our frustration about the late arrival of our food and indicated that we would not be paying the full price, as we believed the quality of the food would have been compromised due to the delay. The person on the phone instructed us to discuss the matter with the delivery person when he arrived. When the food eventually arrived, it was not hot, despite being already late at night, and we were all very hungry. The delivery person apologized, blaming the delay on being busy, but this did not alleviate our disappointment. We accepted the food but only paid half the price, as agreed upon by the delivery person. The food was average at best, and the only reason we consumed it was due to our hunger. I strongly advise against ordering from Papa Pizza, as their delivery service is unreliable. I will never order from them again and will not recommend them to anyone.
