Great food and service, very friendly, there is seating for about 27 people so its cosy, Richard and his staff were a delight, we had fun with them and a great atmosphere surrounded us. The food was very artistic to look at but wasnt a poncy little portion, it was great looking, great tasting quality food. we had the Lamb Rump and the Pear crumble. Cant wait to go back again. thank you Richard and staff, Compliments to the Chef
I booked this for my mums birthday, she is gluten free. Mum was very impressed with the selection of afternoon tea in the gluten free. Mum had the same as I had but all in gluten free. Couldn't fault it at all. I would definitely recommend hallingbury mill and will be back when it's a bit warmer to people and boat watch.
My family and myself attended for my Nan's birthday. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Staff were very accomodating and friendly.
Booked late in the day for a last minute table. All good. Owner was very friendly and helpful and had a good chat about the area as we were looking at a property in the area. I ordered chickpea and butternut squash curry with wild rice and it was very tasty. My husband ordered roast turkey and it was fresh and nicely presented. This was exceptional as we were the last diners of the lunch shift and ordering a roast late in the day is not always good! Although not moving to the area now, would definately pop in again, especially in the summer, as lovely setting on the river.
