We had to go to the bar to get our drinks. The food came out before the drinks did. We also ordered mussels and they never came. When we asked her about them, so said “oh yeah we are out of them today”. That would have been nice to know at the beginning of our meal.
The food at this Mediterranean tapas place was stellar, especially the Moroccan chicken. Try the Mezza hummus platter...the beet hummus is a can 't miss . The reason this restaurant doesn 't get five stars is because the noise is almost deafening. I had to almost yell at my dining companion, and the server had to speak loudly right in my ear to make herself heard. It almost ruined the experience. If that doesn 't bother you, then it 's a great place to eat. If you want a nice dining experience with pleasant conversation, look elsewhere.
I love this place! Food is always amazing, as are the drinks. Service is attentive and friendly consistently. If sitting inside, it is loud...let's say “high energy” : A great spot for friends, or even alone-you would feel completely comfortable. Note: during the heat wave, dress cool. The temp inside is hot, but to be expected as they go in and out to patio dining.
Service and attentiveness was exceptional. The manager had our requested wine chilled and ready for us when we walked in. We had a late reservation and felt no pressure to finish our conversation as they began to wind down for the night.
Kevin was a wonderful server for our business lunch. They put us in the semi private wine room which was much appreciated. The Tuesday special of the pork tacos were SO GOOD. The mezze spreads were delicious as usual. Always a favorite when downtown.
