Akomeya Asian Bistro - Bluffton

Food is definitely sub-par, especially compared to the many take-out Chinese restaurants in our area. Service was excellent, and the ambience was quite pleasant. Portions were generous. Prices were a bit on the high-normal range. The egg rolls were dripping/saturated with oil, inside and out, barely edible. Skip the fried rice....it isn't!

Akomeya is one of our go to’s for Asian food in the area sushi is always fresh poke bowls are really delicious and appetizers are always tasty.

My family loves Akomeya. We've never actually eaten inside, but we've probably eaten carryout a dozen or more times. The food is always ready by the time we pick it up, to the point where sometimes I wait to place the order until I'm actually on the way (about 15 minutes away). My kids love the fried rice and honey chicken. I will either get sushi or the thai basil fish both are always on point. They've never messed up my order and are always nice when we pick up. This is currently our go to asian food restaurant for non hibachi orders.

Awesome chinese restaurant in HH. The Hit and sour soup is delicious. The restaurant is spacious and very clean. The main dishes are served in bowls of rice which was unique and a better option than plates. You couldn't find a better chinese restaurant in the Bluffton HH area.
