Domus Italian - Boca Raton

Salmon was fishy tasting; couldn’t eat it . Everyone else liked food. Including lamb chop and Bronzino.

It was a special night out for us on Valentine’s so hoping for a relaxing romantic dinner experience. It was also Price-Fixed at $79 per person so our expectations were higher than usual. Instead we were seated next to a thoroughfare so waiters and patrons were constantly walking by us. Everything was rushed. At 7:30 they were already out of their grilled octopus appetizer which was ridiculous. The set up for the lamb entree was not good. The brocollini was undercooked and the mashed potatoes were cool. We requested the mashed potatoes be reheated and they brought us a new plate of them which were just lukewarm...not much better. The lamb was only so-so and could only eat one of the three chops. The seafood spaghetti dish was dry and overcooked. Not good. Will not ever be returning here to this restaurant. Too many other good ones to go to in Boca.

We took friends for dinner and we had a 7:30 and had to wait over 1/2 hour for table and food was horrible

Everything was excellent. We were seated right away, the service was prompt, and the food was delicious.
