When I was placing my order, one of the employees rudely interrupted me and told me to raise my mask, which I had lowered just below my nose and pulled away from my face as to speak clearly. It wasn’t the fact that she asked it was the tone in which she spoke. I continued with my order and she again, now in a raised voice told me to cover my entire face or leave. I told her my mask was covering my nose and that was as far as I was going to put it, and attempted to continue with my order. They had already made 4 sandwiches for my kids. I was then called stupid, and idiot, ridiculous, careless, a moron, and then given parental advice by a 20ish year old sandwich artist. At this point she has everyone in the stores attention and I told them to please just make my sandwich so I can leave. She and her male counterpart (possibly her brother or boyfriend) told me to leave, I told them I would be more than glad to as soon as they finished my order. This went on for about 3 minutes until they finally rang up the sandwich’s that were made and I was able to pay and leave. I eat at that subway probably 3-4 times a week. These were new employees and as a result I will likely never eat there again and I won’t be the only one if this is acceptable behavior to the owners of this store. This is a prime example of the brainwashed generation that is being raised by social media and fake news.
There is not much to say, It is a Subway sandwich shop. Clean with a friendly staff. The BMT with extra meat a favorite.
We rarely stop here and after this visit may not again as it steadily gets worse each time. There were no customers when we arrived so parking was easy and no line to wait. The employee was a bit slow in service and I had to ask three times for a pizza. There were other employees in the back but he was working the front by himself. (later a customer came in to pickup a large order so I assume the other workers were working on that). The pizza was thrown together and no care taken to cut the meat or cook the bacon properly. He had a problem ringing up the order and the counter was dirty and there was a fly in the food service area. The sliders are good for a lite meal, the pizza definitely could have been better and the new Beef Smoked Brisket Sandwich was nothing to rave about as the meat was fatty and not very much on a sandwich. There were no cookies in the case so I waited and asked if they were out and was told they do have them. Later they brought them out and filled the case. The place was a real mess. The floor had food scraps and debris all around and was filthy. Didn't look like it had been swept or mopped in a week or more. There was a steady flow of customers, mostly to-go orders, while we were there so I guess being this is the only Subway inside of Boerne they put up with the service and unkept business. It had been a while since we were here last and it will be even longer before we return, if we ever do since this was the worst it has been. What a shame for such a nice small town.
Had a good tuna sandwich with chips and a tea .. could use a little more parking ..when it gets busy its crowded small place get there early or get there after the rush
My husband ordered black forest ham 12 sandwich. He brought it home, and guess what, no ham! Something has changed over there. I was there last week, and the 3 guys were running around without any coordinated effort. Where is the mature and capable woman who managed that place? These guys seem untrained.
