Since Cafe Bistro had no own website, I'm posting here. The Cafe Bistro is located right under the main restaurant, they had an amazing selection of desserts and coffees, including alcoholic beverages such as Irish coffee and cappuccino with cordials. I thought if you go to Montserrat, it's so worth checking it, at least for dessert and some hot coca tea. You will definitely enjoy the passion fruit mousse.
Waited a little bit to get a table. Seems to happen in waves. The atmosphere is very nice being on top of the mountain. The food was good, but I felt as though it may have been a bit underseasoned. I had the mountain plate with normally come with a piece of chicaron (fried pork belly). However, it was not fried enough for my liking. You want this to be really fried and crunchy. My son had the steak, which was good but also a little underseasoned. It's not a big deal. You can always add salt later. Overall, it was a very nice meal.
I hope this is the one at Cerro Monserrate. I thought it would be nice to have lunch at the top to just take a breath and enjoy the scenery with some good food. It was an awesome experience. Service was great and the food was just as great. I did not expect the restaurant feel and that was my bad, they are top notch from you walk in til you walk out. Catch up on your Spanish though or use translate app.
