Red Lion Boise Downtowner Coffee Garden

I understand that this is a cheap hotel, but seriously it is in bad shape! I wish we had just paid $20 a night and stayed a little nicer somewhere.

A great hotel. The air conditioning didn't work very well and it was 100° in Boise this week. Our room was also at night at 80°. In our first room the remote was missing and when we got a replacement, the volume did not work yet. The refrigerator didn't work either. After the first night we talked to the reception and moved to another room. Both rooms lack luggage racks, which seems to offer a really simple thing for a hotel. Carpets in the hallway were stained. This is obviously an old hotel that needs a refreshment.

The available food should be included in the price of the rooms that are appreciably high for such a low-end hotel.

Our toilet didn't work. But the room was clean the staff was super excellent especially Serena!!!!

NOT KID FRIENDLY! Won't get cooler than 73°, the water i filled the tub with to give my baby a bath is GREEN, you have to pay extra for breakfast $40 a day extra) on top of the $600 i already paid for 3 nights, the elevators are boiling hot and slower than u can imagine. Will probably ask for a refund the heat alone is unbearable. What a nightmare. The only good thing was the girls at the front desk. With several people complaining about the heat alone, these girls stayed professional and kind and did what they could to help.
