Viking Drive In - Boise

One of the best, and often overlooked, burger spots in Boise, ID. Great selection of burgers and shakes to choose from. Have been coming here since I was a kid. Just a walk up window and a drive thru window. Not much in the way of seating, maybe a picnic table or two, but that's it. Burgers are made fresh and shakes are thick. Glad to see a small part of Boise hasn't changed.

Truly native food. Henderson burger, fries, and a pop is the best. Idaho friendly, good service. This is one of the last local places to eat that holds many memories and would be greatly mIssed; if they were not here. Thank you VIKING!!

This could be my new favorite spot! The food is fresh and absolutely delicious. I ordered the Henderson burger, onion rings, and a chocolate shake. The burger was impressive, with plenty of toppings and flavor. I'm a huge fan of onion rings, and these were served hot and fresh, with no strange aftertaste like you might find at chain restaurants. You can choose a shake flavor that suits your taste and pick a size to match your appetite. Plus, they sell Viking merchandise, including t-shirts and sweatshirts, so you can show off your new favorite local eatery!

This restaurant is a trip down memory lane. I absolutely adore the quirky speakers at the drive-thru! The prices are similar to those at typical national fast-food chains, but the food is far from standard. The quality is impressive, and the portions are generous. These might just be the best fries I've ever had! I’m not sure if they’re seasoned or fried in beef fat, but they definitely worked some kind of magic on them. The burger was decent, but it could have used a bit more seasoning. However, I’ll be dreaming about those fries forever. The staff were very friendly and delivered my order perfectly, plus the seating was comfortable. I had a fantastic time! I would definitely recommend this place, and I can’t wait to try more dishes from the menu.
