Shannon's Unshelled - Boothbay Harbor

I ate many lobster rolls in the 35 plus years I visited Maine. Shannon's Unshelled is undoubtedly the best. Simple high quality ingredients make for a to die for lobster role. It was the highlight of my vacation!

I'm a huge lobster fan and that was the first time I decided to have a lobster role when visiting Maine. That was the place where you decided. It was the best! I come back to dinner every day for the rest of my visit. I had the big lobster reel basket that is a full lobster, a pop and chips for $19 (tax included). That's the best deal in town. You make it very easy here fresh lobster on a shared top hot dog halls and a side of butter (no mayo) it is the bomb!!!

Fantastic roll, lots of meat for the price! And the blueberry soda finished it off perfectly!!

Shannons mom saved my Maine lobster roll experience by delivering the BEST lobster roll I have ever had after eating one from another highly recommended place. Perfectly chilled, no mayo, entire lobster, freshest taste! I'll be back again!!!

This is the BEST lobster roll in Boothbay!! The best way to describe the experience is to say that when you take a bite, the rest of your body shuts down for a few seconds and your mouth and taste buds take over for the most glorious experience you can imagine! And to top it off, Shannon and Jake are the nicest couple you ever want to meet. Thank you for such great food.
