Classic simple menu (three first courses, three main courses, one each of meat, fish and veg plus two desserts. Damian is a charming and knowledgable host and the food was outstanding. Truffle coquillette risotto was delicious as was plaice ballotine rounded off with excellent lemon tart. We had a delightful evening.
We had lunch here. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere in pleasant dining surroundings. Chef came out to talk to us. I had pork ribs and a creamy lemon dessert. My friends had risotto which was as pretty as a garden. They do evening service too.
This is such an amazing place to eat. You choose how many courses you want and explain whether you want meat or fish, any food dislikes or allergies. You are then served up some truly amazing dishes. We were served the most tasty mushrooms in a white source for our starter. For the main course we had duck on a bed or beetroot sauce served with different types of beetroots. For pudding a deconstructed quince crumble. The service is amazing. A truly unforgettable evening.
Lovely place, friendly staff, good gambas, very good fries, not so good steak. Overall a good place to go
Au chaperon rouge ,tout client sera traité avec gentillesse sans chichi avec authenticité ; bien agréable.
