I'm very very pleased with the food. This is my first time I've eaten here. I cannot believe that you're saying it's Carolina BBQ. Your barbecue is not drowned in sauce. Your flavors stand on their own much like Texas barbecue. Add your own barbecue sauce.. like I said I am very very pleased with your product. And of course I would have to say it's almost as good as mine! But it didn't take me 16 hours to cook it. LOL good job. I will be back. This is a really good find. I told told your staff that I was taking it on a motorcycle and they wrapped it up so well. I had no spills at all. Very friendly. Very good people you've got here. I'm a grumpy old man and I am not easy to please and you have done it 100%! Thank you, Steve Kirschner
Picked up a couple orders of ribs. They were a bit firmer than you would find in the south but still an easy pull off the bone. Smoke was excellent and the sauce exactly how I like it, a Carolina style sweet and smoky. Prices are reasonable, the staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Dined in for the first time today. Restaurant appeared clean, staff was very pleasant and friendly. Food came out to us within 10 mins. Brisket was tender and flavorful. Although it was too warm inside, we did enjoy our meal and would come back again!
We visited the establishment today with the intention of enjoying some seafood and barbecue, but unfortunately, our experience was less than satisfactory. The seafood dishes were not of the expected quality. The shrimp appeared to be frozen and not fresh, and they were coated in breading that included the tail shell, which was an unpleasant surprise. The whole belly clams and scallops were gritty with sand and overcooked. The tartar sauce seemed to be primarily mayonnaise, and the coleslaw lacked flavor. The barbecue items also fell short of expectations. It appeared that they had been cooked well in advance, possibly a week ago, and then reheated in an oven. The smokiness of the barbecue had an overpowering and unpleasant flavor, as if it had been smoked using an incinerator rather than traditional wood. We are puzzled by the establishment's high star rating, as our experience was far from positive. It is possible that the ice cream is a popular item that contributes to the positive reviews. However, we will not be returning to this establishment, especially considering the significant cost of $110 for a disappointing meal. It is important to note that the establishment does not accurately represent Southern barbecue, and many individuals could achieve better results at home. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with our experience.
