HIDDEN GEM! The perfect little Italian take-out/eat-in place tucked away in an alley alongside Old City Hall, off School Street. Lunch salads are delicious; made with fresh veggies, succulent chicken, and tasty house-made dressings. Authentic fried arancini just like you would get in Italy. And there’s a level of service you won’t get with other places nearby: get your food for “here” and they have real metal silverware, and bring the food to your table on real plates. Reasonable prices, especially for the neighborhood.
This restaurant serves excellent food. We were hesitant at first cause the place does not look that busy but we were so glad we went in and ordered lunch. I had the meatball pasta with fusilli and my friend had the veal parm with linguini.Everything tasted delicious. Give this place a try, you’ll be glad you did. Definitely more people should know where to have a great plate of pasta. We were recommended the stuffed eggplant from the cashier, will try it next week for sure. Very friendly and attentive staff.
I went here once for lunch and got bolognese with linguine for around $11. The portion was quite large, and the pasta sauce was tasty, although I wasn't blown away. I would go back to try another pasta dish or a panini. The interior felt a little drab, although there was a decent amount of seating. It was suprisingly empty for noon on a weekday.
Overcharged us. I ordered four pancakes 2 each for the children and they changed us for four full adult orders (which is obviously not what I meant) and they lied about using real maple syrup. It is corn syrup. Also, no non dairy milk for the espresso. Fast food type interior. If you want a breakfast with high quality ingredients, go elsewhere.
